History of the Spanish crisis and evictions

BARCELONA, SPAIN - OCTOBER 26: (History of the Spanish crisis and evictions) The tragedy behind evictions outbreaks again after a seven judges, commissioned by the Supreme Judicial Council, denounced the abuses of the legal system, and propose solutions such as extending the indebted aid to banks. In the last four years, there have been 350,000 foreclosures in Spain. Behind this figure, there are thousands of dramas, of families trapped by the crisis and the housing bubble, like Matias Gonzalez, Barcelona 56, in the midst of what was once his home and is now a nearly empty apartment, part payment of a debt sidereal. Although he resisted three evictions, Matias senses that the next one will probably the final on October 26, 2012 in Barcelona, Spain. Photo by Elkin Cabarcas/picture alliance
