Storm Sandy - New York City

Little New York citizen Maria rides her scooter on the Franklin D Roosevelt Drive before the arrival of storm Sandy in New York City, USA, 29 October 2012. The city highway is usually clogged with heavy traffic and now closed. Many New Yorkers went for a walk in unusual places. Sandy has constanty moved towards the US eastern coast and is expected to hit the land south of New York in the evening, local time. The storm moves at a pace of 30 km per hour.
