The affects of Hurricane Sandy were felt throughout New Hampshire on Monday, October 29, 2012, bringing rains and high winds, gusting above 55 M.P.H. on the coast and in the mountains. Governor John Lynch issued a state of emergency Monday morning and 100 National Guard troops were on standby. Pockets of the state remain without power on Tuesday.
