Queens, United States. 2nd November 2012 -- A man at the pump of a local Queens gas station waited almost 2 hours to fill up a gas jug to be able to power his generator and car. Hurricane Sandy has left thousands of New Yorkers without power. -- Hurricane Sandy is proving that there are more challenges to be met. Thousands are left without power forcing people to use gasoline powered generators to power up their homes. In turn, many are seeing a gas shortages throughout New York.
