Clashes in Bahrain as demonstrators challenge protest ban

epa03455978 An injured youth lies unconscious in a car while being rushed to hospital as human rights activist, Seyyed Yousif Al-Mahfdah documents the incident with his mobile phone following a protest rally in Duraz village, north of the Bahraini capital Manama, 02 November 2012. Clashes broke out in areas across Bahrain on Friday between police and protesters who were challenging a ban on demonstrations imposed earlier this week. Several people were reportedly injured, activists said, as protesters attempted to march from villages to main roads in defiance of the ban that was announced on 30 October with immediate effect.
