Hard hit beachside community have mixed appetite for voting
New york, United States. 6th November 2012 -- Voting amid the debris after Hurricane Sandy displaced may voters. -- In Brighton Beach and Coney Island, two beachside neighborhoods in Brooklyn hard hit by Sandy, turnout for the presidential election is mixed. Close to the coast, where many voters are displaced, turnout is low, further inland they came out strong.
