Punjab still burning left over crop straws despite pollution ban

This is the reason for respiratory troubles during the harvesting seasons in Northern states of India. -- Punjab is one of the smallest states of India. Farmers here still burn left over straw after harvesting crops in spite of administrative bans. Haryana is also facing similar problems of pollution. The land is also loosing its fertility.
