Occupy Wall Street Helps out in Hurricane Sandy's Aftermath
New York, New York, November 13th, Occupy Wall Street's disaster aid center on 100th street in the Rockaways, where an offshoot of the movement, Occupy Sandy, gives out essential items to victims of Sandy and porvides other needed services. Occupy Wall Street is taking the lead in aiding victims of the storm in underserved areas of NYC where FEMA and the Red Cross are scarce.
