Darwin Falls, Death Valley National Park, California
Waterfalls and a lush, riparian environment typically do not come to mind when one thinks about Death Valley. Nonetheless, Darwin Falls is very real and is one of Death Valley's hidden gems. The falls depicted here are the lower portion, dropping approximately 30 feet into the emerald green pool. There is also a larger upper falls further upstream.
