epa03512681 In the wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting massacre, supporters of the progressive gun-control group Credo march to a National Rifle Association (NRA) office on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, USA, 17 December 2012. Reports stated on 14 December 2012 that a gun man unleashed a hail of gunfire that killed 20 children and six adults at a school in Newtown, a quiet, affluent suburb of 27,500 people about 100 kilometres north-east of New York City.
