Bangalore, India. 3rd January 2013 -- The bloodied hands of a Shia Muslim is seen during a procession to observe Arba'een in Bangalore, India. The men take the lead chanting and beating their chest as a token of their sorrow and an end to the previous 40 days of mourning. -- Arba'een, or Chehlom, is a Shia Muslim religious observation that occurs 40 days after the Day of Ashura. It commemorates the martyrdom of Hussein bin Ali, the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad.
