Merkel warms about losing 'collective bargaining' in Germany

Berlin, Germany. 15th January 2013 -- Head of German trade union DGB Michael Sommer said: Mrs Merkel repeatedly emphasizes the importance of collective bargaining, participation and protection against dismissal and makes tentative steps towards legal minimum wage.. -- Chancellor Merkel and Michael Sommer gave a statement after meeting with the DGB executive board. Topics were DGB preparation for upcoming parliamentary elections, current political issues and developments in the economic and financial crisis.
