This statue descripts Mao Zedong (1893-1976) in his young years in 1925, when he was 32 in Changsha,the capital of Hunan province of China and also Mao's home town. 32m in height, 83m in wide and 41m in depth this statue was completed in 2009 after four years construction located on Juzhi Island (meaning Orange Island) on Xiang River, where Mao Zedong used to swim during his schooling years.
