George Blake's Car

George Blake's Car

Scotland Yard released this picture of the Humber car which, it is believed, master-spy George Blake used in his escape from Wormwood Scrubs prison. The car was found in the north-west section of London, where it had been parked for several days before its discovery. A potted, pink chrysanthemum, similar to one found outside the prison, was found in the vehicle. A the time of his escape, Blake was serving a 42-year sentence on charges of having communicated useful information to the enemy.
