ARBAT, IRAQ: Masoud Mohamed Habib from Dayr Al-Zour was a soldier in the Syrian Army. He deserted and his daughter later died in the conflict. He is now a refugee in a camp on the outskirts of Arbat in the semi autonomous region of Iraqi Kurdistan. Refugees from Syria, most of whom are Kurds, have been arriving at camps in Kurdistan trying to escape the continuing conflict. Arbat is located approximately 20 kilometres away from Sulaimaniyah.
