Jammat Protest rally in Dhaka

epa03567900 A Shibir member has a slogan painted of his chest during a Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Chhatra Shibir protest at the Motijhil area in the capital Dhaka, Bangladesh, 04 Febuary 2013. The protesters are demanding the release of Jamaat senior leaders and threatened to paralyze the country if not. Jamaat called for a strike on 30 January demanding an end to the prosecution of current and former leaders of the party for crimes against humanity, genocide, rape, arson and looting allegedly committed during the 1971 war of independence against Pakistan. The Awami League coalition government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed set up the tribunal in 2010 to investigate the alleged war crimes, and has detained several political leaders.
