Pythons to bring luck to people for the Year of the Snake

Chinese staff members of a tourist street in the southwestern Chinese municipality of Chongqing presented five pythons on Sunday (3 February 2013) to bring luck to visitors ahead of the Chinese New Year of the Snake. Five pythons, the largest of which is more than 5 meters long and weighs over 60kg, were paraded along the Foreigners Street, a tourist attraction famous for weird creations, and every one on the site was allowed to stroke them, which was said to bring them luck during the upcoming Chinese New Year which falls on February 10.
