UN Security Council expected to meet on North Korea
epa03579959 (FILE) A file photo dated 26 September 2012 shows Foreign ministers and ambassadors gathering for a United Nations Security Council meeting at the United Nations headquarters in New York, New York, USA. North Korea was suspected to have carried out its third atomic test 12 February 2013 after a seismic shock was registered, reports said. An earthquake in North Korea that appeared to be an explosion happened in the same area as two previous nuclear tests, said Tibor Toth, the executive secretary of the UN's Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization. The UN Security Council was to meet 12 February following a request from Seoul, a South Korean diplomat told the Yonhap news agency. EPA/JUSTIN LANE
