Death toll rises to 80 in bomb blast in Quetta

The death toll in a bomb blast targeting Shiite Muslims in Pakistan's south-western town of Quetta rose to 80 on 17 February, police and media reports said. Dozens more were wounded. Sunni extremist group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack.
