Newspaper Rock is an amazing panel of ancient Indian petroglyphs which are estimated to be around 2000 years old. They are located on the road leading into the remote Needles District of Canyonlands National Park in southeastern Utah. The carvings were actually created by several different Indian cultures including Fremont, Puebloan and Anasazi. Because of the incredible display and the ease of access, Newspaper Rock is a must-see attraction to anyone visiting the Needles District.
