It is very congested and many smokers gather regardless of the danger they expose themselves to as they turn up in large numbers to get a smoke. -- Several years ago former City Council of Nairobi banned public smoking. Under the ban, those caught smoking in offices, bus stations, airports and sports venue would face a fine of 50,000 Kenya shillings (00; 375) or six months in prison.
