Car Gasifiers

Toss a little plain kitchen coal in this burner, spend fifteen minutes warming it up, and off you go at 80 miles per hour, spending 15 cents for the first 100 miles. It's not a stove-pipe dream. Pedro E. De La Torre, Cuba, has perfected the burner which leads to the motor through a tube that ends where the carburator used to be. He patented the invention two weeks ago, and estimates that it costs about $250 to convert. How about a substitute for tires, Pedro?
