WTC Freedom Tower reaches it's peak height of 1,776 feet

The new World Trade Center building in Manhattan has reached it's peak height of 1,776 feet, a number that honors the year of the US declaration of independence in 1776. The Freedom Tower is now the tallest building in the western hemisphere, built in place of the former Twin Towers which fell on September 11th 2001. Pictured: The Freedom Tower
