Mau mau fighter differ over the compensation by British government
Nairobi, Kenya. 7th June 2013 -- Kenya's Nyeri Museum Assistant Curator Anthony Maina goes through a passbook that was issued to three tribes Kikuyu, Meru and Embu in Central Kenya by British colonialists to Mau Mau during the 1952-1959 emergency in Kenya. -- As Mau Mau war veterans celebrated an announcement by the Britain Government to compensate them 20 million for the pains during the struggle for independence, a section of the fighters in Central Kenya argue that most of them were not listed.
