Sea animals and coral reefs harmed by oil leak in Koh Samet
Rayong, Thailand. 31st July 2013 -- Clean up Volunteers from PTT (Petroleum Authority of Thailand) use equipment to trap the oil on the beach. -- Sea animals and coral reefs in the sea off Ao Phrao in Koh Samet have been harmed by the oil leak. About 50,000 litres of oil have leaked from a pipeline operated by PTT Global Chemical Plc (PTTGC) in the Rayong province.
