Parbuckling operation starts on Costa Concordia in Giglio Island
Isola del Giglio, Italy. 16th September 2013 -- The Costa Concordia wreck starts to rotate, part of the submerged boat is coming back to light. -- With 2 hours of delay due to the bad weather condition during the night, the parbuckilng operation starts at 9 am in Giglio Island. Rolling the ship off the seabed and onto huge underwater platforms is expected to take about twelve hours.
