Bang Saphan, Thailand. 11th October 2013 -- A young Thai man draws blood as he cuts his tongue repeatedly with an axe during a parade through the southern Thai town of Bang Saphan as part of an annual 10-day long vegetarian festival. -- Thai devotees of Chinese Buddhism paraded through the southern town of Bang Saphan in Prachuap Khiri Khan, offering blessings to Chinese shopkeepers and performing blood and piercing rituals as they observed the annual 10-day vegetarian festival.
