Death toll rises to 85 after deadly Philippines earthquake

Cebu City, Philippines. 14th October 2013 -- The centuries old Basilica del Santo Nio belfry in Cebu City, central Philippines, was heavily damaged with more than half of its structure ruined. Photo: Stringer. -- At least 85 people have been reported dead after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit the Philippine island of Bohol and Cebu. A collapsed fish market in Cebu reportedly killed seven, and another six died during stampedes caused by panicked civilians.
