Greenpeace activist Sini Saarela to remain in custody until November 24

ITAR-TASS: MURMANSK, RUSSIA. OCTOBER 21, 2013. Greenpeace activist Sini Saarela of Finland appears in Murmansk's Oktyabrsky District Court for a hearing into an appeal against her arrest. The court extended her arrest until Novermber 24, 2013. Saarela and other Greenpeace activists were detained and charged with piracy as they tried to board Prirazlomnaya offshore oil platform in the Sea of Pechora to protest against oil drilling in the Arctic.
