Interior of the Flavel House Museum in astoria, Oregon
The sumptuously furnished house of sea captain George Flavel is now the Flavel House Museum. The fine example of Queen Anne architecture built in 1885 is the best preserved of many Victorian residences that still stand in the Columbia River city of Astoria in Oregon in the Pacific Northwest.
