Thailand ranked world's third highest for road fatalities

Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. 12th March 2014 -- Adults riding motorcycles carry young children as pillion passengers, flouting current Thai law that stipulates the compulsory wearing of helmets. -- Despite laws stipulating the compulsory wearing of helmets for motorcyclists, and seat belts for car drivers and front seat passengers, Thailand is ranked the world's third highest for road fatalities as laws continue to be flouted or unenforced.
