Thendeka Mantshi lives in a Khayelitsha squatter community. She discovered that she was HIV-positive when her baby was born HIV-positive. They are part of a new treatment program aimed at demonstrating that people living in poor African communities can benefit from the same medications available in Western countries, or to well-off individuals in Africa.
