Original caption: 3/26/1959-Paris, France- One of the meeting places of American expatriates in the Paris of the 1920's was Sylvia Beach's bookstore and lending library, "Shakespeare and Company," on 8 Rue Dupuytren. This photo of the 1920's, which shows Miss Beach at the entrance of her store, is among 600 clippings, letters, photograph and first editions being exhibited at the American Cultural Center here until April 25th.
