Original caption: 8/28/1968-Chicago, IL- Reporting from the floor, CBS' Dan Rather (with headset) is shown at Democratic National Convention Aug. 27 after he tried to find out why a Georgia delegate, holding a Georgia standard, walked to the rostrum and then started out of the convention hall. Rather was shoved and then allegedly punched in the abdomen and knocked down. He said he was told to "get the hell out."
