Original caption: 5/18/1960-Paris, France- Brandishing a clenched fist, Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchcev delivers an angry tirade at his farewell press conference here, May 18th. Giving way to almost incoherent rage at the repeated booing of the audience, the Russian leader warned that further American spy flights over the Soviet Union would lead inevitably to war. In a fist-pounding demonstration, Khrushchev also compared President Eisenhower to "a thief caught red-handed in his theft."
