Original caption: 12/6/1946-New York, NY- The first "neighborhood" movie house on New York's swank Park Avenue opened recently and it's strictly Park Avenue in its design and methods of operation. In the lobby, no posters or glamour photos proclaim coming attractions. Instead, the showcases contain genuine paintings and works of art. The placard indicates prices for non-subscription tickets. The movie house does not show first-run films.
