Bob Hayes Winning Olympic 100 Meter Dash

Original caption: 10/15/1964-Tokyo, Japan- Bob Hayes of the United States, "the world's fastest human," streaks past Wieslaw Maniak of Poland after finishing the 100-meter dash in 9.9 seconds. Hayes' time in this semi-final heat will not go down as a world record, however, due to a slight tail wind. Hayes later (10/15) won the finals with a time of 10.0 seconds, to tie the world mark.
