Caterpillar of the Postman Butterfly

Caterpillar of the Postman Butterfly

The caterpillar, like all other insects, breathes through holes along its body called spiracles. The fleshy body is protected against predators in two ways: it is covered in spines and the caterpillar itself is poisonous. The caterpillar measures 2.5 cm long.
