Bush expresses confidence in CIA and Director Tenet

President George W. Bush speaks at the Central Intelligence Agency's headquarters. U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Richard Shelby questioned Tenet's competence in the wake of the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington. Bush voiced confidence in Tenet's abilities. "I've got a lot of confidence in him, and I've got a lot of confidence in the CIA. And so should America," Bush told CIA employees in his first visit to the spy agency's headquarters since the attacks. --- Photo by Martin Simon/Pool/Corbis SABA
