Prince Charles takes short break in former foot & mouth area
Prince Charles leaving the family-run Yew Tree Farm Bed & Breakfast in the Lake District, where he has been staying for two nights during a brief walking holiday in the area. The Prince decided to stay at the Relph's home after meeting them last September during a tour of farms in Cumbria. The Prince wants to actively support the local rural economy in the wake of the foot and mouth epidemic, which badly affected the area. The Prince is wearing a cap, an unusual tartan-style jacket with plus-fours (knickerbockers) and walking boots. He is carrying a walking stick (crook).
