The Unseen Gulf War

The Unseen Gulf War

February 1992: One year after the end of the Gulf War, an Iraqi woman walks near the rubble of a bombed out house. Basra is a large Iraqi city near the Kuwait border, and is heavily inhabited by Iraqi Shiites. There was a brief uprising by the Shiites in this city against Saddam's forces at the end of the Gulf War, but it was quickly put down.
