Molten steel salvaged from the World Trade Center site is poured into a mold to form the bow stem of the Amphibious Transport Dock ship USS New York. About 24 tons of steel was salvaged from the rubble of the World Trade Center in order to make ths ship. | Location: Amite, Louisiana, United States.
