BUSH PETS "STARS" THE TURKEY AT THE WHITE HOUSE TURKEY THANKSGIVING CEREMONY
U.S. President George W. Bush (R) pets "Stars" at the annual turkey pardoning ceremony in the Rose Garden of the White House, November 24, 2003. The presidential tradition spares the life of the turkey, who will live out the rest of his life in Frying Pan Park in Virginia, in advance of America's Thanksgiving holiday on November 27 this year. Jim Stocan (L) and Tom Fix (obscured) helped raise the turkey.
