SOUTH AFRICA'S TUTU ATTENDS EVENT IN LONDON'S TRAFALGAR SQUARE ON 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF DEMMOCRATIC ELECTIONS IN SOUTH AFRICA

South Africa's Archbishop Desmond Tutu attends an event in Trafalgar Square, London on April 27, 2004, to mark the 10th anniversary of the first democratic election in South Africa. The 1994 elections transferred power from the white-minority rule National Party to the African National Congress, in the process making Nelson Mandela the president of South Africa.
