Fidel Castro Addresses Worker's Representatives
Original caption:The Cuban Prime Minister, Major Fidel Castro, met on April 17th in the Cuban Worker's Federation (CTC) with trade union, political and administrative representatives of 487 work centres in Metropolitan Havana. The Prime Minister announced a plan to solve the urgent problem of housing, a plan which is based mainly on the constructive efforts of the workers who will live in the new housing projects. To begin this mass-scale project, 487 of the most important work centres in the city were selected. The work centers include a total of 140,000 workers and have 296 work microbrigates.
