Juvenile Crocodile Eating a Small Frog

Juvenile Crocodile Eating a Small Frog

A juvenile crocodile's jaws begin to clamp shut with a small frog between them. Frogs are a favorite meal for young crocodiles. The crocodile diet changes as the animal grows larger, beginning with small insects eaten by the newly hatched and growing to birds and other small vertebrates in adulthood. Saint Lucia, South Africa.
