Original caption: Anglo-American talks conclude. Hamilton, Bermuda: President Kennedy and British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan (right) pose for photographers, December 22nd, at the conclusion of their two days of talks. The two leaders announced they had agreed on preparations to go forward with atmospheric nuclear testing as a matter of "prudence" in view of the "massive series of Soviet blasts." A communique also announced that the U.S. Ambassador in Moscow would make the initial contact with the Russians in resuming exploratory talks on Berlin.
