Gas Station Attendants Looking Under Hood of Electric Car
Original caption:Gas station attendants Bill Pugh (L) and Gary Dobrynski seem a bit confused when checking under the hood of an automobile recently. Instead of the usual engine they found this car was electric. It's a conversion of a full size General Motors car built by the electric Auto Corporation of Troy and sells for about $15,000, and is named the Silver Volt. There are 23 electric car makers in the U.S. but most are doing experimental work.
