Original caption: In a surprise ceremony Colonel Charles A. Lindbergh and Miss Anne Morrow, were wed in the Morrow Mansion outside of Englewood, New Jersey, at 4 p.m., May 27th. This photo, one of the graphic records leading up to this event, shows Anne Morrow and her sister Elizabeth, when they stopped at the home of their grandmother, Mrs. Charles Long Cutter, while en-route to Englewood, New Jersey, from Mexico City, Mexico. Miss Anne Spencer Morrow, daughter of the US Ambassador to Mexico, accompanied by her sister, Elizabeth and mother, arrived in Cleveland, Ohio, April 30th, to spend a few days with her grandmother, Mrs. Charles Long Cutter, from Mexico City. She is en-route to Englewood, New Jersey, where she is to prepare for her wedding to Colonel Charles Lindbergh, in June. Photo shows Anne Morrow, right, and sister Elizabeth, in Cleveland, Ohio.
