Eleanor Roosevelt Riding Horse

Eleanor Roosevelt Riding Horse

Original caption: First Lady on Bridle Path. Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt is an ardent horsewoman. Before she moved into the White House she often was seen on the bridle paths near her Hyde Park home and at Albany, N.Y. and now, even though the scope of her activities has been broadened as the First Lady of the Land she still finds time for recreation on the bridle path. Here you see her rising the Rock Creek Park, Washington, D.C. on "Patches" her favorite mount.
